19th century blue and white porcelain jar.
Additional Description
Well developed in the Yuan Dynasty (1271 - 1368), the blue and white porcelain was the stylish artistic ware in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Natural cobalt brushed on the jar body that would convert to blue after being in the forge was set off by the white glaze to produce a beautiful and distinctive art piece. Excellent condition.
